Rhett Dillingham

Senior Analyst, Cloud Services

Rhett Dillingham is a senior analyst at Moor Insights & Strategy and is also VP Product at Jask. With over 17 years of experience in delivering hardware, software, and cloud products and services to market, he is an industry expert on cloud infrastructure and platform services.

Rhett covers cloud infrastructure services (compute, network, storage, identity) and platform services (containers, data stores, PaaS, etc.) across public, private, and hybrid cloud on all leading infrastructures (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google/GCP, OpenStack, etc.).

He was most recently Vice President of Product Management at Rackspace, a leading managed cloud services provider, having held Product and Engineering leadership positions there across public and private cloud from 2012 to 2016.

From 2009 to 2012, he was the Product lead at AWS on the compute (EC2) instance offerings then the overall block storage (EBS) service. Prior to that, he was Senior Product Manager at Microsoft from 2006 to 2009 on the SharePoint and Enterprise Search businesses and a leader of Marketing and Business Development for AMD from 2000 to 2004.

Rhett’s depth of experience as a Product leader across product management, product development, product marketing, program management, and business development for acquisitions and partnerships provides strong perspective to the challenges involved in delivering market-leading offerings.

Rhett earned his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
