New NVIDIA RTX 4060 Cards Announced

By Patrick Moorhead - May 21, 2023

New NVIDIA RTX 4060 cards announced. I see these as AI gaming cards. By that, I mean these cards really leverage AI to improve gaming performance and experience at lower power. >4x TFLOPS vs 2060 and >2X 3060. They show their strength leveraging DLSS 3 and what’s coming up in the future with neural textures & rendering. It also helps with reducing the memory footprint. Oh, and those AI capabilities also help with on-device content creation which we will be hearing a lot more about. As I often stress, with Moore’s Law slowing down, transistors aren’t free, which puts the focus on software, which NVIDIA has led the conversation on.
