MI&S Weekly Analyst Insights — Week Ending December 19, 2025

Welcome to this edition of our Weekly Analyst Insights roundup, which (normally) features key insights that our analysts have developed based on the past week’s events.

MI&S is an all-virtual firm, which is a great benefit for our clients because it means we can bring in the best talent without needing anyone to pick up and move their families. And even though several of us live in Austin or the surrounding area, during the year we’re more likely to see each other on the road at a conference.

group pic from all-hands dinner
Almost all of the Moor Insights & Strategy crew assembled for dinner after our all-day all-hands meeting last week in Austin.

That’s why I was glad to convene our full analyst and operations teams in Austin last week — for the second year in a row — to refine our strategy and tactics for the coming year. Each analyst went over the successes, challenges, and industry changes in their respective coverage areas (which we usually call “swimlanes”). Plus, we talked a lot about broader opportunities to grow the firm and evolve our practices, especially around AI, in 2026.

With everyone on our staff taking a well-deserved breather from travel and spending time with their loved ones over the holidays, we are not publishing swimlane-by-swimlane updates this week or next. But look for our annual tech trends edition to hit your inbox two weeks from now. (Here’s the version from a year ago to whet your appetite — and so you can see how well we predicted events in 2025!)

As we look ahead to the new year, we already have several events on the calendar. As you plan for 2026, please reach out if our paths are crossing so we can say hello face-to-face.

Over the last week, MI&S analysts were quoted in multiple international publications, including Fortune, SDxCentral, TechTarget, UC Today, InfoWorld, Mugglehead, and VoIP Review. The press wanted our insights on the Amazon OpenAI deal, Broadcom, Docker, enterprise collaboration, NVIDIA, Qualcomm, and Zoom.

Our MI&S team also published 10 deliverables — 1 Forbes article, 4 Research Notes, 2 Analyst Insights, and 4 Podcasts.

Check out the updates below for more from the MI&S team, including published content, press quotes, and calendar updates.

Have a great week!
